Refund & Cancellation Policy

No lock-in period. Cancel from your account settings at any time.

7-Day Window

Eligible for a full refund within 7 days of your first charge if you have not used any scans.

Pro-rata Credits

For service outages >4 hours, we issue pro-rata account credits automatically.

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your Prescanix subscription at any time by navigating to Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

After cancellation, your account downgrades to the Free plan and you retain access to your scan history. No further charges will be made after the current period ends.

2. Refund Eligibility

Eligible for Full Refund
  • You request a refund within 7 calendar days of your first subscription charge
  • You have not performed any paid scans during that period
  • Your account has not used any Pro/Agency-only features (ML predictions, CLI access)
Not Eligible for Refund
  • Refund requested after 7 days from the charge date
  • Any scans have been consumed during the billing period
  • Partial-month refunds for mid-cycle cancellations
  • Charges older than the most recent billing cycle
  • Free plan accounts (no charges apply)

3. Service Outage Credits

If the Prescanix platform is unavailable for more than 4 consecutive hours in any calendar month due to issues within our control, we will issue a pro-rata credit to your account for the duration of the outage. Credits are applied to your next billing cycle automatically.

Planned maintenance windows announced at least 24 hours in advance do not qualify for credits.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at contact@prescanix.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:

  • Your registered email address
  • The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for
  • The reason for your refund request

We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method.

5. Plan Downgrades

Downgrading from Pro to Free (or Agency to Pro) takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the higher-tier features until that date. No partial refunds are issued for downgrades.
